near me is closing, as is supposedly the rest of the chain. I went in there last week becaue they had a sale on 550Va UPS' and I got one for $35.00 with the mail in rebate, a pretty good deal I think :). This was before they put up the "Store Closing" signs. I see the sign today saying 20% off everything in the store and Think Hey I could get another UPS cheap!! One problem...once you get inside it says "Select merchandise 20% off" Most everything was actually only 5% to 10% off and was still higher than Fry's or Circuit City. What was worse was that the 550Va UPS' no longer had the mail in rebate AND had been marked up 20.00!! So, with the 10% discount on them they were actually MORE than I paid for the one last week!!1111 I love deceptive trade practices.....
