can do it that way, great. If not, it's not hard to do it in a script, find will do most of the work for you. If you post for help with that, I'm sure we'll get you going fairly quick. Also, look into dircmp. On the last *nix I used it was kind of weak, but the gnu version might have more options than that ancient scrap heap (literally, they finally EOL'd the project and the machines are on really on their way to the scrap heap).
