And now for some visual geographic fun by ixeian 2007-03-04 09:46:46
After naming the states of the USA and the European Union, I figure it's time to place them too. And being a certified geography freak, I found these links laying about in the bookmarks:

1. USA: Place the names on the states (Shockwave Flash) As it says, drag the state names onto the clearly delineated map (only the 48 mainland states). It's harder than you'd think and be prepared before you click, the clock here is rather more unforgiving than the one on Illiad's link ;)

2. Europe (all of it) (Flash) Partially in Russian, but the important stuff is in English. Drag the state silhuettes onto the map. No clock here, but no borders either, this one is about precision. The very small states are almost impossible. There's a bug in this one, in that the name of the state in the left part is sometimes partially hidden, just drag it towards the map and it'll be visible.

3. World Rather ugly web design, but for those who can't get enough, here's all the continents, Canada, Russia, the oceans and more. No timer here either, just clicking and a point system. Happy placing >;-)
