have the ASGs use the Air Marshall type ammo in their primary weapon and train the heck out of them (all groups inside the middle of the 10 ring). (hollow points/anti-armour in the secondary weapon of course). And then post signs stating that any hostile action will result serious harm. and i would also have a LOW VOLTAGE taser for them to use on the students
