It's impossible to say in case of X do Y. That's one of the reasons for training and practice. So you know your limitations and act accordingly. I carry a sum of $30 in one of my pockets as get away money. If I am in a situation, I would rather throw it on the ground and beat a hasty exit while they scramble for it than use my gun. In public it is a weapon of LAST resort. I prefer to use my grey matter as a weapon of first resort. One of the primary purposes of Ordnance-Corner is education. The more you know about driving a car the less likely you are to do something stupid. The same goes for firearms.
