Build a small one first, scaled down from your big plans.you'll find out some of our wondermous ideas can't be doene in real life. Me, it also pointed up a really DUMB mistake leading to what amounted to a dead short across the HV power output. (10 ohms is close enough to ZERO at 10KV.) ZOT!!! BANG!!!!!! Sigh.
