Especially the part about registers that have another I/O address for reading and for writing.

The 2 addresses being swapped in the #defines, then only used for a fixup for a BIOS bug for a very limited range of hardware (which of course I happen to have) causes a very hard to trace bug :(

A bit disappointing actually, a 2-liner patch for several weeks worth of hobby-work...
