Well, I would imagine to move away from the gun. In most cases, at high speed. However, if it's a Glue Gun, I would expect it to move a lot slower. If it's a Nail Gun, I expect it to be fast, but move only a very short distance. A Timing Gun, throws light witch is VERY fast. But I use them to time the firing on my car.
