I'd say that if the chances of death were significant, then an extraordinary effort should be required. Anything less would be negligence. As a matter of fact, the local department of health should be informed, in order for hospitals to be ready for a few cases of life and death.
If the chance of death is insignificant, then no. For 'insignificant', read 'less than .5%'. But that value is subject to change, where the principle isn't. |
