They clearly had the means to save a live, but didn't use all of them. Some punishment should be in order, but not a x- million pay- off as it seems to the current US - usus. And of course they in therm can go after the producer for a part of the blame, even if not all of it. (I know the law probably doesn't require them to do so, but that's their fault for letting me sit in a jury ;) )
