We have the spawn times set to 20 Axis 15 Allies globally, and whitelist those maps which are allowed to override them with their own settings.
That is why base race, golden dunk, etc. spawn timers didn't work like they should (the spawn upgrade in baserace didn't do anything) until we fixed them.
In some of the new maps, the map also expects to change the spawn times, and it not able to do so. So we should either whitelist all these maps, or just invert the rule so that we only override those maps whose spawn times we don't like, and leave the rest be.
Lighthouse, for example, has the axis on offense, but the allies are still spawning faster. It has always happened on Caen, but no one really minds because it ends up being somewhat balanced anyway because the distances are so short. |
