the next runner up, even if it is not as good, but very close, I'd be willing to tip the scales. I won't vote for something that is vastly inferior just because it is a friend. (I'd rather consul them in their loss and help them improve) witness my disappointment at not even making the short list on the photo contest this past summer :-( but I am working on improving my skills and my photo collection, for this years competition. and I will be asking UFies for input. :-)
