That's why you are supposed to do the	by Havoc	2007-02-16 08:03:25
reinstall to a different folder - so you have a parallel installation of windows. Then you can at least access the data. But your solution is good as well - new drive, new OS, get data. Be sure you have the original CDs and keys for all the apps though, as Windows will ask to be re-authenticated.
