A big Matrioshka brain composed of all the available matter orbiting the sun mined, disassembled, and rebuilt into tiny interconnected computers. Then we would reach the top level of intelligence possible for the solar system. It's a cool idea, but unfortunately, it's not mine. It's Charles Stross' from his book, Accelerando.
