Interview tomorrow. by abaron 2007-01-25 20:20:45
If all goes well I'll join the ranks of the contractors. Pay is better then what I'm making right now (they're paying $25/hour), term is decent (4 months), company is BIG. I'm hoping that it will be translatable into a continuing contract, or else that I'm able to post into a continuing job.

The job is interesting, it's data-mining/data-entry. They actually wanted the recruiter to test the data entry skills before they interviewed me. It's working on a national projected based out of Montreal so I'll get to use my French too.

I'm looking forward to it, but I'm getting a little bit nervous about the interview. Most of it is just from the treatment at my current job that I can't brush off easily, put downs and criticisms are hard to ignore, even when you have a tough skin. I've gotta shine my shoes tonight and study up on the company. If I have time and if my clothes are dry I'll iron them tonight, if not then tomorrow morning. Then I have to go get a tie from my other place (forgot to grab it when I was there tonight) and drop of keys in the morning before the interview.

So much to do!
