which, I'm not even sure if it's really double-jointedness. Maybe it's more of a hyperextension. When I extend my fingers as far as they go, they kinda bend backwards at the middle joint (same thing with my forearms and my elbow). If I try to pull my index finger forward so that it is exactly straight (in an attempt to bar) I cannot put any strength into it whatsoever. The point at which I can again put strength into my finger is when it is slightly bent (which is useless for guitar). >.>
