fat public without banning outright. That is my concern. It would have been possible to, for instance, make bars and restaurants provide a room with it's own ventilation and air source for smokers and friends if they want (dont forget it is private property to an extent). It would be possible to make restaurants using trans fats to list the food with the fats in them and how much. Banning outright just gets them closer to telling you you have to brush your teeth a minimum of three time a day. (sarcastic example).

Prohibition has been proven not to work. We have a constitutional ammendment repealing a previous one because of it. All it will do is make some, less ethical, entrepreneurs rich.
