C# is NOT a portable data format specification. by etwas_egal2007-01-25 13:08:03

The real issue is lack of a CLR by etwas_egal 2007-01-25 14:41:48
If I *could* install Mono, all would be OK. Since I am not permitted to do the install, I have to deal with broken C# for .net 1.1 as a "spec". For a conversion from 32-bit Win to 64-bit Linux. If it were Slackware, SuSE, or a Debian, I could pretty easily sort this all out. But it's #*@$ Red Hat Enterprise, which apparently has a religious objection to Mono.
