If, say, 5% of the population smokes, any resteraunt or bar with 20 or more people has a smoker in it, more likely than not. Short of only going places that are deserted (and what do you do when a smoker turns up, leave?), there's little to no way to avoid it.
If I sat in a resteraunt and spent the whole time shouting, I would quickly be asked to leave by the management. Any argument of mine about personal freedoms and the right of others to leave if they don't like it would (rightly) be summarially dismissed. Smoking is the same, only noxious instead of noisy. |
