A source close to the actor is quoted by Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Tom has been told he is Scientology's Christ-like figure. Just like Christ, he has been criticised for his views. But future generations will realise he was right, just like Jesus."

Being criticized for your views makes you the Son of God? I'm wondering if this is a means to make people stop criticizing him (anything to make him a non-deity!).

Also: "...realize he was right, just like Jesus." They can't both be right. I mean, c'mon. Then again, there aren't too many grey cells floating around that "religion"...
