This one is clear cut. There is *no* right to smoke. None. There is a right to life. This is, assuming you live in the USA. If you do not - you'll have to check with your government.
Here we have a document called the "Declaration of Independence".
A subset of the text:
"with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life"
Find me a passage of our constitution, the declaration of independence, the bill of rights, or any of our legal documents granding you the "right to smoke"! Hint: There are none. :p
So, basically, you are WELL within your rights to say people have no right to smoke, regardless of where they do it. Now, as to being a good human being and living in a social manner, the instant their smoking infringes on your "right to life", you are well within the boundries of the law to tell them to bleepity bleep off. ;) |
