Would you recommend Pinnacle Studio over Ulead Video Studio, or over any others? Do you have a favorite card that does the video+audio all in one natively to mpeg format? DVD burner recommendations? How about a good VCR that will play back at the best possible output?

Thanks for the tips on the backups! I have about 300GB free on my system, waiting for this project, I am hoping it will be enough ;-)
