I had no problems, but I went from Canada to London and on though to Sweden. I hear that anything remotely terrorist oriented gets confiscated. (Hand guns, Knives, matches, Computers, Cameras, knitting needles, breast milk, diapers....The usual stuff) I think that the rest of the world got the American's share of common sense.
