It would change weather you are right or left handed. If you are a lefty wierdo (= pinky left clicks thumb right clicks and the middle finger and the ring finger will run the track ball. (the middle buttons i very infrequently use) Right handed (and not in your right mind) your index and middle finger will run the track ball with thum left and pinky right click respectively. (the two middle buttons I infrequently use)
