Dual-processor oddity by cpqrst32007-01-25 03:41:27
  My guess: one CPU gets the main 'kernel' thread by Cokish 2007-01-25 03:54:05
Not sure but since both linux and windows are not designed to
evenly balance their load onto exactly 2 proccessors, my
guess is that one CPU simply gets more work.

One possibility is that the 'main' kernel thread, if this 'thread' exists, gets mapped onto one cpu which has to do more work.

But this is a wild guess.
