It describes me and my previous church - not tied to any denominational organisation, but definitely christian. So many people asked if we were Baptists or Church of England or whatever, that we added this phrase to service sheets and notepaper and suchlike: "We're not the only christians, but we're christians only. My current church is part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, but everybody there would say "I'm a Christian" not "I'm a Baptist".
