the scientific method require being able to falsify the results, not merely test them.

It also doesn't imply conjecture, but acutal falsifying of the results.

Do you have a link to any definition of the SM that doesn't require that? The best I can find is that the more we test it, the more sure we can be of it, but we can never be absolutely sure.
