He says that the probability of the existence of a god is infintesimally small, and there's no reason to believe god exists any more than the tooth fairy, or orbiting teapots, or boogey-men under your bed. He very carefully explains near the beginning of the book that it is indeed impossible to prove conclusively that god doesn't exist - all one can do is make a convincing argument that it's not at all likely.
