I watched him every Sunday - never realized it wasn't live. Around November the show was replaced and I wondered what happened to it, but just assumed they were working on something else.

*sigh*

Watching him was as close to going to church as I have done for 25 years or more. He was a character, that's for sure.

I'll miss him.
