My boss *edited* an attached file in Outlook 2000 by Divinar 2007-01-22 16:33:25
Yes, you read that correctly.
I didn't think it was possible.

He got a resume by e-mail, in DOC format. He opened it, edited it to remove the email, address, and phone number, then printed it (to offer to a client).
Then, when he closed the file, it asked him if he wanted to save the changes.
Out of habit, he clicked "Yes"
Then he closed the window of the email, and again clicked "Yes" to save changes.

Now the attached file in his inbox is the one he edited.

I tried it myself, and it worked.

Has anyone else seen this?
Is there a known fix? Or a way to set the machine to not let him change the original attachment (just make him save it elsewhere)
