multiple monitors/systems. Say you have 3 computers, each with it's own monitor. If you don't have a switch/KVM, you have to use seperate meese and keyboards for them.

This allows you to have all 3 going, next to one another, and only use 1 mouse and keyboard.

I currently have desktop and laptop next to one another, and only using 1 mouse and keyboard to switch between them seamlessly.

Big difference to KVM: I can cut and paste between the systems.
