But how about the world in general?

Granny Tecumseh likely doesn't have the same setup, so when she runs winamp to play her bible quote MP3s, she would likely accept all the options and end up with lots of nice spyware.

Of course, she'll already be owned due to plugging the computer directly into the cable modem and turning off that silly XP firewall because it kept her casino games from working.
