Vista's digital rights management makes it too easy for content providers to disable your viewing pleasure. It actually puts the onus on you to purchase whatever is deemed necessary by content providers to ensure that you couln't possibly dream of stealing their content.

Including the high likelihood that you won't be able to enjoy the content you have bought. Which makes it much more likely that you'll want to circumvent that copyright enforcement. Which leads to -- well, you do the math. It is just not something that makes anybody jump up and rush out to buy Vista. M$ just may have done itself a disservice catering to corporate interests rather than to its customers.

Not to mention what it does to content providers' sales. But then, we already know about how reasonable RIAA and MPAA members are.
