  Remember, the photon phase is a real number by shminux 2007-01-22 10:14:29
phi in exp(i*phi), so there is theoretically no limit how much classical (discrete) info you can store in it. The tricks were:
- to slow down/buffer the photon
- to get high enough accuracy to avoid distortion during the above buffering, so that enough of the phase information could be retrieved.

Quite impressive, I agree.
