But, there is a limit to what certain vehicles can do. I mean, no matter how skilled a driver I am, when there is ice on the roads, my little RX-7 is going to have far more trouble than a capable 4WD/AWD vehicle. I will admit, I've cruised past far too many SUVs stuck in the ditches and medians in that car.

Fortunately, now that it's becoming a track-only vehicle, "I gots me this-hyar four-wheel monster, I can do anythin' I want!"....."Yee-haa!" (And by 4 wheel monster, i mean a moderately sized Toyota Tacoma that gets about 21mpg, and can still haul me, my trailer, and my car to anywhere i need to get.)
