A lot of people believe this, but that does not make it so.

a 4WD vehicle is always safer on ice and snow than a 2WD vehicle, given drivers of equal skill.

On ice there may be little difference, but you would still be SAFER than in a 2wd vehicle - more control, more protection if you lost control.

So - *ding* next fallacious dismissal...
