I'm a BIG fan of classical music, everything from early Renaissance to late Classical, don't care quite so much for Romantic music, but I've started warming up to the neo-Classical (Rimsky-Korsakoff, Mussorgsky, Ravel, etc.). I'm a HUGE fan of minimalist / modern composer Phillip Glass' works.
The radio in my car might as well not have five of its six buttons -- it is permanently fixed on the local classical music and NPR station, KUHF.
I also like, in no particular order, 60s folk rock (Pete Seeger, Arlo Guthrie, Peter Paul & Mary, Simon & Garfunkel), classic country / western music (Hank Williams Jr., Patsy Cline) and late 70's / early 80's punk/post-punk/new wave/industrial-gothic.
About the only types of music that I really do not care for are rap/hip-hop. |
