Personally, I don't think the maps have to be historically accurate or realistic. They should be well balanced, flow well, and be fun to play.
Same goes for people calling gameplay aspects "unrealistic". Getting shot in the head and not slowing down is not realistic. Bandaids and injections don't cure bullet wounds. Real life defenders wouldn't get The Voice telling them dynamite had been planted, and you can't build a bridge with pliers alone.
Simply put, it isn't about simulation, it is about gameplay.
And I think Golden Dunk is a hoot. Cortex WHO a little less so, because it ends up being just a spawn camping war for the desk flag. |
