would be "Green As Poison": OK for me. But I don't see why that would equate "tea" for any reason.

- Green tea: most often will not be "as poison"
- Some types of liquor are green "as poison", yes.

I had a banana-flavoured drink "green as poison" too. Looked very artificially coloured, but smelled like natural banana.
(Next to it was a "curacao" drink, blue "as poison", which tasted ... like very bitter oranges. But the curacao oranges were never blue, so where did the colour come from ? )

And the Chartreuse exists in a green variety as well. This one is said to be "pure nature, no chemicals, only herbs" ... but "as poison" includes poisonous plants and herbs as well.
