up to 40 hrs for some, unlimited for others. When I was a fed one of my co-workers had over 200 hrs of sick leave and nearly 400 vacation when she retired. :) In my new position I am limited to 24hrs sick and 40 vacation, which is fair and doesn't lend itself to the extensive vacation times some folks take. I understand that in Europe they are positively loaded with vacation time - 6-8 wks in some cases. Here in the USA, 2-3 weeks per year is rare. I have been with the company for 5 yrs and just got bumped to 3 wks per year. Next bump is to 4 wks after 10 yrs.
