what UPS, I assume in the UK? What voltage are you using it on.

Usually that's a 3-phase error, but that would mean you had it on a 220v line (or whatever the UK uses.)

If it is a large UPS, like a 3000 unit, there is a sensitivity setting that can be set for 208, 210, or 220v, depending on home or commercial 220v, etc. In the US anyway.

In the UK, I dunno - but you might be able to track it down from that.

Also, go to the website of the UPS maker, knowledge base, and then search for the error message. Google doesn't spider all of the support stuff due to the way it is indexed.
