Books everyone should read by Arachnid2007-01-16 14:09:17
The Summing Up, by W. Somerset Maugham by rhl2000 2007-01-16 22:31:13
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert M. Pirsig

On a Clear Day You Can See General Motors, by J. Patrick Wright

The Magical Child, by Joseph Chilton Pearce

The Book (On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are), by Alan Watts

The Only Dance There Is, by Ram Dass

Pretty eclectic, I suppose... And that's just a tiny sample of books I picked out from my bookshelves over the last 5 minutes. There were a few more I was tempted to include, but have not read yet. I tend to do that at times, go on a buying spree of all kinds of books, then set them aside for a day when I feel like something different. In some cases, the day hasn't come yet, even after 10 years or more. Here is just one title from that unread segment of my collection:

Stalking The Wild Pendulum (On The Mechanics of Consciousness), by Itzhak Bentov
