the cycles setting necissary for smooth gameplay & videos (22000) almost pegs out my processor. (hovers at around 98% used) also make sure that it's the latest version (.65) you'll also need a line like this to mount the cd: mount f z:\ -t cdrom (mofidy z:\ to be whever the mount point is as you're using linux) you can apparently mount ISOs directly via this command: imgmount D "c:\images\game.iso" -t iso (both of those go in the autoexec section of dosbox's config file)
