(hallo Freakazoid! :-)) "Won't GnuCash do it?" It is somewhat overpowered, yet I succeed since some time to use it only to manage my own cash&expenses (nothing wirting bills/offers, just "Private Finanzverwaltung", however with HBCI, which is why I selected it...). So I think (in stark contrast to many other open Source products) its useability is acceptable and you can easily "ignore" the extra features you don't need. Did you really give it a try? :-))
