They specifically protect people who do not take part in the fighting (civilians, medics, chaplains, aid workers) and those who can no longer fight (wounded, sick and shipwrecked troops, prisoners of war). (link)

Yes, the U.S. has a lot of murders. Interstingly enough while the number of firearms here has increased the number of crimes committed with them has decreased. All your claim illustrates is that Australia is not the United States. |
