That's what we've mostly talked about, but thus far, i'm the only one who has mentioned NON-criminal things it could be used for.
I don't think it'll make us safer from criminals, just give us a better chance of catching and prosecuting them.
This is NOT going to stop crime. Just make getting the criminals faster and more certain.
Depending where you live, the Govt already has your face, your weight, your finger/foot prints, and if you're in the US, you already have a national ID number.
DNA really isn't the big scary thing people seem to think it is. It only gets scary if people start medically using your DNA.
