Just getting the data itself isn't a bad thing. There are MANY good uses it could be put to.

It wouldn't be hard to limit access to the information. I think the clerks offices should all be able to insert new records into the DB, but certainly not query them (should be limited to certain personnel only), and even less to to modify them.

People argue guns are bad every day, and not just here. they have *some* valid arguments, even if we disagree with them.

The only difference is that the DNA is still in potentia.
