Using guns (since you brought it up) they are used for more often for good things than bad. Therefore the good outweighs the bad. (Ignoring for a moment that they are a Constitutionally Guaranteed Right here) In the case of DNA collection would the good (or potential for) outweigh the bad (or potential for)?
