I need cooking lessons, BADLY!! by shorty822006-12-13 09:41:47
Bacon should be cooked at about 5 on the dial. by RetiQlum2 2006-12-13 10:39:36
Eggs at about four. This may change depending on your stove. Cook the bacon first as it takes longer and needs to drain on a paper towel. The eggs go much more quickly. Keep your eyes on them while cooking.

Careful with the bacon: hot grease can splatter.

Pretty much anything that goes in the oven will be at 350 degrees.

Also, "The Fanny Farmer Cookbook" is the best referance book I've ever found for cooking. It answers things like "How long do you cook a duck, versus how long do you cook a chicken."

The other thing is: next time ask us you dummy! There are at least a dozen UFies who love cooking. Or you could drive over to lab_rat's house with some food and look at her with dolefull eyses.
