I have not once used on my Casio:
Spot metering
Any of the programmed shot modes
Adjusted saturation, contrast, etc (the camera does a good job by itself)
I have only very rarely used:
Aperture or Shutter priority modes, it's only got 2 aperture settings.
Manual focus, it's nigh useless
video or audio recording (though it's a nice perk when you do want it)
Things I would consider optional that I've used:
Macro focusing mode, it doesn't change the fundamental optical properties of the lens, and the autofocus will focus as close as the lens can without special prompting almost all of the time.
Any on-camera editing tools (mine has keystoning correction, if you don't know what it is, don't worry, because you'll probably never use it anyway). Rotation correction is handy if the camera doesn't do it automatically when you shoot (mine doesn't, the Kodak does). |
